Why does my system warn me? The client is not signed with a paid certificate, so Windows SmartScreen and macOS Gatekeeper show a warning on the first start. Download the client only from this page and, if you want, compare its SHA-256 checksum with the one above before you open it.

Windows – installer

  1. Download and open Baiakeria15-Setup.exe.
  2. Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”: click More info and then Run anyway. The publisher is shown as unknown because we have no paid code-signing certificate.
  3. Click Install – no administrator rights needed. The game goes to %LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\Baiakeria15 and you get a Baiakeria 15+ shortcut on the desktop and in the Start menu.
  4. Black screen or graphics errors? Start Baiakeria 15+ (DirectX) from the Start menu.
  5. Uninstall: Settings → Apps → Baiakeria 15+. Installing a newer version over the old one keeps your settings.

macOS – DMG

  1. Download and open Baiakeria15-macOS.dmg.
  2. In the window that opens, drag Baiakeria15 onto Applications.
  3. The first start is blocked: System Settings → Privacy & Security → “Baiakeria15 was blocked” → Open Anyway. (Or once in Terminal: xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Baiakeria15.app)
  4. One app for Apple Silicon and Intel Macs, macOS 11 or newer. Start it from Applications, not from the DMG window – only then can it update itself.

Portable ZIP (no installation)

  • Windows: unpack Baiakeria15-Windows.zip (right click → Extract All) to a folder you can write to (e.g. Documents, not Program Files) and start Baiakeria15\Baiakeria15.exe. SmartScreen: More info → Run anyway.
  • macOS: unpack Baiakeria15-macOS.zip and move Baiakeria15.app to Applications.

Logging in

  1. Create an account on this website and a character.
  2. In the client choose a language, enter the account e-mail and password, press Login.
  3. Choose your character – you start in the temple of Averain. More in the FAQ.

Automatic updates

You install the client only once. At every start it asks nexuris.pl what has changed and downloads only the changed files (graphics, game windows, translations) and new versions of the program itself; if needed it restarts by itself after a second. No internet or a problem with the download? The client simply starts with what it has.

Checking the file & settings

  • SHA-256 on Windows (PowerShell): Get-FileHash .\Baiakeria15-Setup.exe
  • SHA-256 on macOS (Terminal): shasum -a 256 Baiakeria15-macOS.dmg
  • Client settings: Windows %APPDATA%\otcr\baiakeria15, Mac ~/Library/Application Support/baiakeria15 – delete the folder to restore the defaults.
